Okotoks RCMP are looking for a group of suspects in connection with an assault on a 19-year-old girl walking by herself over the weekend.
Police say that at about 10:45 p.m. on August 20, the victim was walking across the Library foot bridge to the stairway leading to Woodhaven Drive.
She was approached by a group of people, about 10 males and one female all in their early teens, and attacked.
The victim got a good look at the female of the group, who is described as:
- Short in stature
- Wider shoulders
- Skinny waist
- Blonde hair in long, loose curls
The victim sustained minor injuries in the assault, but the motive for the attack is unknown.
