RCMP said a dirt bike and a pickup truck collided early Sunday morning on the Samson Cree Nation near Ponoka, killing one person and injuring two others.
Investigators say the male passenger on the dirt bike died on the scene, the female driver of the dirt bike was taken to a hospital in Edmonton by STARS Air Ambulance in stable condition, and the male driver of the pickup truck was taken to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The incident is under investigation and no names will be released until next of kin are notified.
