Many Calgarians enjoy spending an afternoon on the golf course and Keith Stephens is no exception but it was only after he suffered a stroke that Stephens took up the sport.
Stephens has accomplished a feat that eludes many golfers. Keith was perfect on the third hole on the par-3 course at McCall Lake. The hole-in-one is even more impressive considering Stephens did it one handed.
Even though his mobility is limited on his left side, the former hockey player remains extremely competitive.
Keith, and the rest of his group, have all suffered a stroke. The group plays golf at McCall in the summer and in the winter they take their game indoors, playing golf simulators.
The group has an open invitation to others who have suffered a stroke.
Keith Stephens is this week's CTV Athlete of the Week, brought to you by Big Chief Beef Jerky!
