The History Channel's Canadian Pickers are based out of Calgary and they are getting ready to sell the treasures they collected during their third season of the show.

Scott Cozens and Sheldon Smithens travel the country looking to turn other people's junk into treasure.

The pair just wrapped their third season and now they are selling off the antiques and trinkets they found during their travels.

The auction will be held at The Livery Stable, at 1130 10 Ave S.E. this weekend.

Cozens and Smithens are always on the lookout for new leads and interesting items and can be found rummaging through barns, basements and attics across the country.

“We send all our leads to the production company, they'll try to cluster us so we can do two or three days picking all in one area, so the travel doesn't take as much time,” said Smithens.

“I'm a huge fan of early country store collectables, turn of the century country store stuff, anything you would have seen in a country store at that time, so if I find a piece like that it goes up stairs, it doesn't go in the sale,” said Cozens.

The auction runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.
