The Calgary Police have identified the latest murder victim in the city, where a man was killed early Saturday morning.

An autopsy held on Tuesday positively identified the victim as Liban Hussein, 24.

Hussein was visiting the city from Fort McMurray.

Police say that he was killed by a gunshot wound.

Calgary police continue to investigate a shooting incident that took place in the downtown early Saturday morning.

At approximately 2:30 a.m., officers responded to the 800 block of 8 Ave. S.W. following reports of gunshots in the area.

Two gunshot victims were located and transported by EMS to the Foothills Hospital in life threatening condition.

One victim was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital, the other victim continues to receive medical care.

Police haven’t released any details on the other victim.

They have no suspects in the murder.
