Calgary police are asking the public for help to identify those responsible for a series of commercial break and enters that date back to 2010.

Investigators say there have been more than 50 B and Es at commercial properties across the city over the last four years and that the suspect(s) in these cases share a similar description.

They say the properties are entered in a similar manner in all the cases and that the culprit(s) target strip malls or locations with multiple businesses.

Access is gained by prying open a rear door and once inside, the offender(s) break through the drywall into the attached business.

Police say the thefts happened in the evening or overnight hours and they are working to determine if the same person(s) are responsible for all of the offences.

An alleged suspect is described as:

  • Caucasian
  • About 180 cm or 5’11” tall
  • 91 Kg or 200 lbs.
  • Short blond thinning hair that is balding in the back
  • Clean shaven
