Police are looking for suspects in connection with a violent home invasion in Calgary's northeast on Tuesday evening.

At about 7:30 p.m., police were called to a home on Faldale Close N.E. after a woman reported that her friend's home was being broken into.

The CPS Tactical Team was called to respond to the call as well and when they got there, they found a man at the scene, suffering from head injuries.

He was treated at the scene by EMS.

No one else was injured.

Police aren't releasing many more details about the incident, including what sort of weapons were involved, if any.

They aren't releasing any information about whether or not anything was taken from the home either.

They are continuing to investigate and have not made any arrests.

Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact police.
