Calgary police are asking for public help in identifying the man believed to be responsible for two recent indecent acts including a Wednesday afternoon incident at a school in Bridlewood.

According to police, shortly before 1:00 p.m., officers responded to Monsignor J.J. O’Brien Elementary and Junior High School on Bridlewood Road Southwest after school staff confronted a man who allegedly exposed himself to students. The suspect fled the scene prior to the arrival of police. A search of the neighbourhood was unfruitful.

The suspect is described as:

  • An Asian male
  • Between 20 and 25 years old
  • 175 cm (5’9”) tall
  • Having a slim build
  • Slightly unshaven face

At the time of the Bridlewood incident, the man was wearing a red hoodie.

The description of the Bridlewood suspect matches a recent incident in Copperfield. On the morning of May 29, a man was scene masturbating in a park in the 200 block of Copperfield Green Southeast.

Police believe the two incidents may be related.

A photo of the suspect in the Copperfield incident has been released. Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect is asked to contact the Calgary Police Service, 403-266-1234, or Crime Stoppers.
