The Calgary Police Service has compiled a composite sketch of one of two men believed responsible for June’s robbery of a senior in the southwest community of Shawnee Slopes.

On June 22, a 78-year-old man was working on his motorcycle in the garage of his home on Shawnee Road Southwest when he was approached by two men posing as landscapers.

One of the men said he was armed with a gun and grabbed the senior by his throat.

The suspects, who were wearing white masks, entered the victim’s home and stole a laptop.

While leaving the residence, the senior struck one of the men with a shovel. The suspects fled in a truck with the Green Drop logo on its door.

Police have determined the truck had been stolen.

The senior suffered minor injuries during the ordeal.

Anyone who recognizes the man in the composite sketch is asked to contact the Calgary Police Service, 403-266-1234, or Crime Stoppers.
