Calgary police are looking for a man who allegedly attacked a woman and could be linked to several other indecent acts.
They're asking women to be extra vigilant when they are out in the city as the last attack happened on Sunday at 2 p.m. in the afternoon.
The suspect allegedly approached a woman while she was waiting at a bus stop at 26 Ave. and 25 St. S.W.
He grabbed her and pushed her to the ground.
But the victim fought back and screamed, at which time the man fled on foot.
Police say the man is described as:
- white
- 45 to 50 years old
- clean shaven
- tanned complexion
- thin build
- dark eyes
- shoulder length, messy dark grey hair
They say he was wearing a dark jacket, blue sweat pants, and a black toque covering just the top of his head.
Police are also looking into whether the incident is related to five others between Feb. 17 and Feb. 24 that all occurred in the area.
They are also reminding women that if they feel suspicious of someone, they should scream or use a personal emergency alarm to attract attention.
