Calgary police have released new information in the 2013 murder of 18-year-old Lukas Strasser-Hird and are looking to identify two people who may be potential witnesses to the teen’s death.

Strasser-Hird was found stabbed and badly beaten in an alleyway in the 200 block of 10 Ave S.E. at about 2:45 a.m. on November 23, 2013. He later died in hospital.

Police believe he was involved in two altercations before he died and say he and his friends were able to remove themselves from the first situation but that the groups crossed paths again later outside a downtown bar.

Five people have been charged in connection to Strasser-Hird’s death:

Police are now looking to identify two people who may have more information about the homicide and say they may have left in a white import car, possibly a Mitsubishi Lancer.

Detectives are asking witnesses to come forward and for any related photographs and videos.
