Calgary police are looking for a suspect after a man was kidnapped, robbed and assaulted on November 18, 2015.

At about 7 p.m. police say a man was getting into his vehicle outside a home in the 3600 block of Brenner Drive N.W. when a second man approached and forced his way in.

The suspect demanded the victim’s phone and wallet, then forced him to drive along Shaganappi Trail before stopping at a construction site near Sage Meadows Green N.W.

The suspect tried to get the victim’s banking PIN but failed and assaulted the victim instead. He then fled on foot.

The victim attempted to drive away from the scene and became unconscious while driving causing his vehicle to enter a ditch along Burma Road N.W. EMS found the victim at approximately 9:45 p.m. He was taken to hospital where he was treated for life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as:

  • Caucasian male
  • 5’10” to 6’ tall (177 to 182 cm)
  • Grey or tan hoodie, dark blue or black coat, blue jeans.
