Courtney Ketchen

CTV Morning Live Traffic Host

Courtney Ketchen joined the CTV Morning Live team in March 2015 as Traffic Anchor after being the Host & News Anchor for a morning show in Winnipeg for four years. Originally from Winnipeg, Courtney moved to Calgary in 2005 to take the Journalism program at Mount Royal University. After school, Courtney’s career took her to Saskatoon, Red Deer, and Thunder Bay before heading home to “Winter-peg!” Now back in beautiful Alberta, Courtney is enjoying the milder winters, mountains, beautiful parks, rivers, and hiking paths!

In her career, Courtney’s community involvement has earned her the St.John Ambulance Excellence in Media award in 2014, and also a Community Hero nomination by the Canadian Mental Health Association in 2015.

When not keeping Calgary updated on road conditions and morning commutes, Courtney can be found at one of the city’s dog parks (favourites include Edworthy Park & River Park!)
Courtney has two Bichons, Kingston & Phoenix (Fifi.) An avid animal lover and passionate about animal rights, Courtney is also the monthly sponsor for Oliver- a rescued farm pig at The Alice Sanctuary. As much as she would love to take him home, Courtney settles for snuggles and kisses while visiting the farm! Courtney can also be found getting her “ommm” on at hot yoga, and running along the river with her little furry friends!
