Brooks RCMP believe alcohol and a disregard for seat belts contributed to the deaths of two young people in a Highway 36 crash near Antelope Creek.
Police say the Ford F150 was travelling south on the highway when a steering over-correction sent the truck plummeting into the ditch.
The two occupants, Ben Shackleton, 22-year-old male from the Rolling Hills area and Angie Williamson, a 20-year-old female from the Vulcan area, were partially ejected from the truck.
Emergency services responded to the location, but both Shackleton and Williamson were found dead on arrival.
Police continue to investigate.
The time of the crash has yet to be confirmed.
