Rockslide closes Trans-Canada Highway west of Lake Louise

A rockslide has shut down a section of the Trans-Canada Highway in both directions about 16 kilometres west of Field, B.C.

RCMP say anyone travelling through Yoho National Park should find another route, as the highway could be closed for another 24 to 72 hours.

Crews are working on clean-up and the area will be assessed again tomorrow afternoon.
