Lethbridge police have arrested and charged four people in connection to a Thursday night search of two residences in the 900 block of 7 Street N.

On Thursday, members of the LRPS, including the Priority Crimes Unit, Canine Unit, Identification Section, and Patrol Division, as well as the ALERT Safer Communities and Neighbourhoods Unit, executed search warrants on two known ‘problem properties’ on the north side of the city.

As a result of the property searches, four people were arrested and charged including:

43-year-old Charles Howard

  • Possession of a controlled substance (three counts)
  • Prohibited weapon

44-year-old Charlene Kane

  • Possession of a controlled substance (three counts)
  • Prohibited weapon

29-year-old Crystal Sackman

  • Possession of stolen property under $5,000
  • Theft under $5,000

20-year-old Forest Visser

  • Breach of Recognizance

Police continue to investigate and expect to lay additional charges in connection to drug activity.
