Calgary police have charged a second man with manslaughter in the death of another man at a northeast home at the end of October.

Police responded to a 911 hang-up call in the 200 block of 11 St. N.E. at about 2:30 p.m. on October 30 and discovered one dead man inside the home.

Isaac Patrick Crowchild, 26, of Calgary, died as a result of a stabbing.

At the time, investigators took four people who were inside the residence in for questioning and then released them.

Another man fled the house before police arrived but was taken into custody after a downtown traffic stop in the early morning hours of Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Robert Darrel Morrison, 43, was charged with one count of manslaughter.

On Friday, police arrested a second man on an unrelated matter.

Roy Wilson Severight, 35, of no-fixed-address in Calgary, is now also charged with manslaughter.

Severight appeared in Calgary Provincial Court on Monday morning.
