Police have released CCTV security footage of the brazen robbery at Jewels by Maxime in Market Mall where they say the thieves made off with over $100,000 worth of property.

Investigators are now turning their attention to suspect vehicles that were seen by witnesses about two days before the theft occurred.

On November 5, police received several calls about intrusion alarms being activated at Market Mall just before 4 a.m.

When officers arrived, they found that a vehicle had crashed through the north entrance of the mall and broke through the security doors of the jewelry store.

The suspects entered the store and stole a number of high end watches, believed to have a total value in excess of $100,000.

Police later found a white Dodge Journey abandoned in the northwest community of Varsity and believe it was the vehicle used to gain entry to the mall and the store.

Police have obtained video of the vehicle entering and leaving the mall during the incident and released it to the media on Tuesday.

Police have determined that the vehicle was stolen from a home in Rocky Ridge sometime in late October.

Police say that the Journey may have met up with a white or gray Dodge Caravan and a black truck in the area of Northmount Drive and 14 St. N.W. on the evening of November 3.

Investigators believe that those two other vehicles could also have been stolen and are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers anonymously, using any of the following methods:
