Lethbridge police have arrested and charged two local men in connection to a Friday afternoon fight in the food court at Park Place Mall which involved the suspects throwing chairs at each other.
Officers responded to the mall following reports of a disturbance and identified two men as the primary suspects in the fight. Police also located a 65-year-old woman who had suffered a cut to her head when she was struck by an airborne chair during the altercation. The severity of the victim’s cut required medical treatment.
Police have arrested and charged two Lethbridge residents with assault with a weapon and causing a disturbance:
- 22-year-old Carson Luke Small Eyes
- 29-year-old Grant Tyler Williams
Williams and Small Eyes are scheduled to appear in Lethbridge court on Monday.
