A man has serious, non-life threatening injuries after a crash between a tractor and a semi near Didsbury on Friday morning.

Paramedics arrived at Highway 582 just east of Didsbury a little after 9:00 a.m. and found that the tractor and semi had collided and the tractor had rolled.

The driver of the tractor, a man believed to be in his 30s, was ejected and then pinned under the tractor.

The man was conscious while crews worked to extract him from the wreckage and load him into a ground ambulance to further stabilize him.

STARS Air Ambulance then transported the man to Foothills Hospital in stable, non-life threatening condition with serious injuries to his lower torso, which may include internal injuries.
