Calgary fire crews say that seven people escaped a burning home in the northeast community of Falconridge on Monday morning.

The fire broke out on Monday morning at a home on Falchurch Crescent N.E.

A second alarm was called shortly after crews arrived.

Another five people were evacuated from the neighbouring homes.

There were no injuries.

The fire causes extensive damage to the house of origin, but left all over structures untouched.

Firefighters are still on scene helping the displaced residents retrieve valuables and documents.

The fire is under investigation.
