Calgary’s sports community was honoured at the mayor’s annual sport breakfast on Wednesday.
The event, which featured Olympian Carol Hyunh as the keynote speaker, honours organizations which have been given accolades for leadership and business excellence in the field of sports.
The companies recognized at the breakfast included Winsport, Canada Tuxedo, and Source for Sports.
Winsport was included for its operation and funding of the ’88 Olympic facilities.
Source for Sports received their award for their work with non-profit organizations.
