A woman in her 50s was flown by STARS Air Ambulance after falling at Lake O’Hara near Lake Louise.
The woman fell about 10 metres at around noon on Sunday. A helicopter was able to use a sling to get her out of the back country, and STARS brought her to hospital in Calgary.
She reportedly has serious injuries but is expected to survive.
