Police have now arrested a second suspect wanted in connection with the murder of a 20-year-old man in Calgary in January 2012.

Anthony Ambrose Brothers, 21, of Calgary, was arrested by RCMP in Gleichen at 11:30 p.m. on Thursday.

He is now being transported to Calgary where he will likely face a charge of second degree murder.

On January 25, 2012, police were called to a home in the 2100 block of 16 St. S.W. after a man was seen lying on the ground outside.

He was transported to hospital in serious, life-threatening condition.

He died the next day.

Police say that Gatleak Thor Metkurjock, 20, died of blunt force trauma in what they believe to be a targeted attack.

Another man, who cannot be named due to the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was arrested earlier this week.

He has been charged with second degree murder and is awaiting trial.
