A Saturday morning police investigation on Lethbridge’s south side has ended without incident.
Shortly after 9:00 a.m., officers responded to a location near the intersection of 14 Ave. and 18 St. S. following reports of a man armed with a gun. Several marked LRPS units were stationed throughout the neighbourhood and neighbours were asked to remain in their homes.
A four block area was closed to vehicle and foot traffic during the standoff.
Early Saturday afternoon, police arrested an unidentified male suspect. No injuries have been reported.
