The investigation into a shooting at a home in the city’s southeast on Monday continues and police are looking for a vehicle that was used by one of the offenders to flee the scene.

Police were called to a home in the 0 – 100 block of Auburn Meadows Garden S.E. at about 5:00 p.m. for reports of a shooting.

When emergency crews arrived, they found an injured man at the scene.

Investigators believe that the man was approached by two other men as he parked his vehicle in an alley behind the home.

An altercation ensued and the man was seriously injured. He was taken to hospital in stable condition.

One of the suspects fled the area in the victim’s vehicle and the other drove away in another vehicle.

Police are now looking for the victim’s 2012, black, Toyota Highlander with Alberta licence plate number BWX4030.

Investigators are working to determine a motive for the attack and obtain accurate descriptions of the offenders.
