A youth is facing a murder charge in the death of 15-year-old Leslie Sun Walk at a home in the Marlborough Park area last week.

Police were called to a home in the 5500 block of Maddock Drive at about 5:00 a.m. on November 15 and found a teen in medical distress.

The 15-year-old boy was transported to hospital and was pronounced dead on arrival.

Family of the boy has identified him as Leslie Sun Walk and police say he was the victim of a fatal assault.

A suspect was taken into custody at the scene and released without charge.

On Monday, police arrested a 16-year-old male in connection to Sun Walk’s death.

He is now charged with first-degree murder but cannot be named under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Police say the accused and Sun Walk were known to each other and that the murder was not a random incident.
