On Saturday, March 31, a 15-year-old motocross rider in Calgary was involved in a terrible accident.
Josh Kaminski flew off his bike, landing on top of a vehicle in a nearby parking lot.
The accident looked really bad, but the injured rider will recover.
"My head hit the trunk and my back hit the pavement," says Kaminski. "When I landed, I was glad I could still breathe and wiggle my toes."
Kaminski broke his back, damaged his pelvis and broke his wrist.
The broken back did not cause a spinal cord injury which means no paralysis.
Kaminski will spend three months in a back brace.
