A pair of teenagers is in hospital in Calgary on Thursday after they were injured while rock-climbing near Canmore.

At around 2 p.m., STARS was dispatched to the Three Sisters Pass for reports of an incident in the area involving injured climbers.

Officials say the teenagers were injured while climbing in the area.

One patient needed to be airlifted from Stewart Creek to Foothills Hospital in Calgary.

Kananaskis Fire and Banff EMS assisted in the operation.

There is no information on the extent of the teenagers’ injuries.
