Airdrie RCMP is looking for suspects after library employees reported that a donation box on the front counter of the library was stolen.
The employees called police on May 1 at the Airdrie Public Library at 304 Main St.
They say that the donation box was taken by an unknown male, who was with another young male.
It's believed that both youths were loitering outside the library for some time before the theft.
An estimated $300 was inside the box at the time.
The first male, believed to have committed the act, is described as:
- Between 15 to 20 years old
- 5'5"
- Average build
- Dark blond hair
- Blue eyes
- Acne on the lower part of his face
He was seen wearing jeans, a black hoodie, baseball cap, and had a black backpack with a green neon design.
The second male is described as:
- 6'
- Blond hair, combed forward
- Wearing a green hoody with "DC" logo on the front
