The vintage Vette that went missing from a southeast yard earlier this week has been located at a De Winton area acreage.

The 1962 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was taken from its parking space in the 9600 block of Bonaventure Dr. S.E. sometime last weekend.

The car has been owned by a 73-year-old Calgary man for over 40 years and was covered and locked up on the parking pad.

Police say tips from the public led them to the vehicle and that the car is now in a CPS forensics bay where it will be tested before it is returned to its owner.

So far no charges have been laid and the investigation continues.
