An integrated team of Calgary Police and RCMP officers have charged two men with a long list of drug charges following an investigation and subsequent seizure of a significant amount of drugs.
On May 9, police raided a home in the 100 block of Martindale Boulevard N.E. and seized a large amount of drugs, cash, and weapons.
Police say they seized:
- 192 grams of cocaine
- 632 grams of marihuana
- 130 grams of MDMA powder
- 23 grams of cannabis resin
- 21.5 grams of cannabis oil
- 9 grams of psilocybin
- 143 grams of methamphetamine
- over $12,000 in Canadian currency
They say they also seized numerous weapons, including three canisters of pepper spray, a collapsible baton, brass knuckles, and a replica firearm.
Combined, the drugs have an estimated street value of over $44,000.
Two Calgary men have been charged:
Christopher Eder, age 22, is charged with six counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, four counts of possession of a prohibited weapon, and one count each of simple possession, possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000, and possession of a dangerous weapon or imitation thereof.
Peter Tran, age 21, is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, production of marihuana, possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000, and possession of a prohibited weapon.
