Calgary police are investigating after two people were rushed to hospital on Friday morning with suspected drug overdoses.
Emergency crews were called to a home in the 2400 block of 52 Avenue NE at about 9:00 a.m. for two people in medical distress.
A male in his late 20's was taken to hospital in stable condition.
A female in her early 20s was taken to hospital in serious, potentially life threatening condition but has since been upgraded to stable condition.
“Obviously we'll have to do some testing to determine exactly what drugs are involved,” said Acting Duty S/Sgt Bruce Elmer.
Police say they don't anticipate laying any charges at this point.
