An elderly female was trapped inside an overturned vehicle after rolling approximately 10 metres (32 feet) down a southwest cliff on Saturday afternoon.
The single vehicle collision occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. at a location near North Glenmore Park.
According to CFD officials, the lone occupant of the Nissan SUV was removed from the vehicle using hydraulic rescue tools.
Firefighters carried the victim to the road into the care of an EMS crew. The woman was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
