WestJet is adding a new non-stop seasonal service between Calgary and Miami to get frozen Calgarians to the sea and sand sooner.
Miami is the largest cruise ship port in the world and the new flight is set up to get people on that winter getaway as conveniently as possible.
"One of nine cities in Florida served by WestJet and its airline partners, Miami and beyond is now more easily accessible from Western Canada," said Chris Avery, WestJet Vice-President, Network Planning, Alliances and Corporate Development. "Whether boarding a cruise ship for a vacation on the seas or soaking up Miami's beautiful beaches or famous shopping and dining experiences, the city's rich Spanish influence and world-class attractions make it one of the premier vacation destinations in the United States."
