NDP

  • Balance budget by 2018

  • Balance budget by 2017
  • Reverse health care fee & other tax hikes proposed by PC
  • Maintain 10% corporate tax, end corporate welfare subsidies

LIB

  • Introduce progressive personal income tax system
  • Raise corporate taxes from 10% to 12% but eliminate small business taxes

AP

  • Balance budget by 2021
  • Progressive taxation for individuals
  • Gradually phase out small business tax

Energy Policy

PC, WR, LIB, & AP

  • No changes to royalty regime

NDP

  • Royalty regime review, results to be acted on within a year

Health Care

PC

  • Cut health funding by $159M
  • Rework AHS, create 8-10 local advisory boards
  • Reduce wait times, focusing on ER & acute beds: no specific targets
