An unusual crash in the city’s northeast has sent one woman to hospital suffering from undisclosed injuries.

The single vehicle crash happened at around 2:30 a.m. Saturday morning near the intersection of 32 Ave. and 9 St. N.E.

Police say the driver of an SUV lost control of the vehicle, sending it rolling on to its roof.  The vehicle completed at least rolls before landing upright on its tires.  The female driver continued to drive for a short distance before coming to a stop.

Initial reports indicated passengers may have been ejected from the vehicle while it rolled.  Police have since determined the driver was the lone occupant of the SUV.

Police continue to investigate the crash and officers believe alcohol may have contributed to the rollover.
