A man suffered potentially life-threatening injuries following a Saturday morning accident on a residential job site.

At approximately 10:00 a.m., the man was working on the siding of a home in the 1400 block of 8 Ave. S.E. when he fell from the scaffolding.

“On our arrival, we determined a male patient in his early forties had sustained a fall estimated to be between 20 and 30 feet while working on a home,” says Stuart Brideaux of Calgary EMS.

The man was transported to Foothills Hospital.

Occupational Health and Safety is investigating the circumstances surrounding the fall.
