A Calgary child’s artistic skills and persistence have provided him with the opportunity to spend some time with his favourite artist.
With the help of his father, Darius Irani started his own Twitter account this past fall in the hope of meeting the electronic artist Deadmau5.
“I am 8 years old and I think that Deadmau5 is the best ever!,” said Darius. “I will draw a Deadmau5 head every day until I meet him.”
Darius began to post his daily drawings of the Canadian DJ to twitter. A short time later, Deadmau5 responded to the tweets and arranged a meeting.
Darius is scheduled to meet Deadmau5 Saturday night before the artist’s performance at the Edmonton Expo Centre.
