There are new developments in a case involving a Calgary psychiatrist charged with sexual assault.

CTV News has learned 29 more alleged victims have come forward.

Dr. Aubrey Levin has already been charged with one count of sexual assault.

Calgary Police tell CTV News the alleged victims came forward after learning of Levin's arrest. After announcing the arrest, police set up a hotline hoping to gather more information.

The alleged victims are being interviewed this weekend and investigators will work to determine the validity of each claim.

Last Tuesday, Levin was arrested and charged with sexual assault in connection to a 36-year-old man.

The alleged victim was a long-term patient of the psychiatrist and it's alleged the assaults happened repeatedly over a period of time.

Investigators say although most of the 29 new allegations came to light through the tip line, it's too early to determine if further charges will be laid.

Levin is currently out on bail and scheduled to appear in court on April 8th.
