A little snow caused some big traffic problems Wednesday morning.

There was a serious rollover on Highway eastbound.  A vehicle flipped and the driver was seriously hurt.

Calgary City Police were called out to numerous accidents during the morning commute because of the slick conditions.

Earlier in the morning, about 2 am the driver of a 1999 Infiniti G20 lost control on an exit from Stoney Trail N.W. and ended up on the grass median.  The car then hit a tree, rolled and landed on its roof on Harvest Hills Boulevard.

The 20-year-old woman who was driving the car wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.  She was thrown from the car and has critical head and neck injuries.

TheCalgary Police Traffic Section is asking witnesses to call 403-567-4000 or Crime Stoppers
