The Medical Examiner's office says it still doesn't know what caused the death of a baby girl at a southeast home on Wednesday morning.

The seven-month-old was found unresponsive in a Dover duplex and paramedics declared her dead at the scene.

The Medical Examiner says an autopsy conducted on Thursday was inconclusive and the infant's death remains a mystery. Further testing will be carried out over the upcoming months.

The Calgary Police Serious Crimes Unit continues to investigate the death which is standard procedure for all unexplained deaths in Calgary.
