Black bear sightings in Fish Creek Provincial Park

Alberta Parks is warning Calgarians of recent bear activity in Fish Creek Provincial Park between Macleod Tr. and 37 St. S.W.
A black bear has been spotted in the following sections of the park:
- Shannon Terrace Day Use Area
- Bebo Grove Day Use Area
- Votiers Flats
- Marshall Springs
The areas remain open to the public. Visitors are asked to walk in groups, to make significant noise while walking or cycling on pathways, and to keep pets on leash and under control.
Anyone who spots a bear in the park is asked to contact the park office at 403-297-5293.
