Officers with the Brooks RCMP detachment are on the hunt for the culprit in a Wednesday morning break-and-enter and subsequent sexual assault at a home in the southern Alberta town.
At approximately 2:30 a.m., July 2, a male suspect gained access to a townhouse on Princess Place and sexually assaulted a sleeping female.
RCMP have released the following suspect description:
- Having an Aboriginal or Asian appearance
- Approximately 21-years-old
- Approximately 160 cm tall (between 5’3” and 5’4”)
- Medium build
- Short black hair
- Having a teal green tattoo below his belly button, possibly part of a dragon
- Having a dark black tattoo on his left shoulder in the shape of an awareness ribbon
- Clean shaven face
- Brown eyes
No items were removed from the home and the suspect is believed to have fled the area on foot.
The victim does not know her attacker.
