CALGARY -- Investigators are looking for answers after neighbours reportedly heard screams coming from inside of a home in Marlborough early Tuesday morning.

Officers responded around 1 a.m. on Tuesday to the 200 block of Margate Close N.E. in what’s now being described as a suspicious death investigation.

A woman had phoned police on Monday to say she had not heard from her 35-year-old son in six days. Police later learned the missing man may have been seen at the Margate Close N.E. residence.

"During an initial search of the residence a deceased body, believed to be the missing person, was found," police said in a release.

Three people at the residence were taken into custody then later released without charge.

The victim has been identified as Nathaniel Goodeye, 35, of Calgary. No cause of death has been released.

Investigators have been speaking with neighbours and potential witnesses in the hopes of obtaining information or surveillance footage.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Calgary Police Service non-emergency line at 403-266-1234 or Crime Stoppers at (403) 262-8477.
