Environment Canada has issued another snowfall warning and 10 to 20 centimetres of snow is expected to fall on Calgary and parts of southern Alberta before the system moves out of the area.

The weather agency says a low pressure system from the Pacific is bringing in the precipitation and snow amounts will vary depending on elevation.

Calgary will see about 10 cm of snow and CTV Calgary Weather Specialist Warren Dean says the snow will melt on contact with the ground in the morning but will start accumulating as the day continues on.
