Cavalry FC to host first leg of Concacaf matchup in Langford, B.C. in February

Cavalry FC will host the first game of Round One of the 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup, but Calgary fans will have to travel to get there.
The team announced that the first game against Liga MX side Pumas UNAM will be played at Starlight Stadium in Langford, B.C. (Victoria) on Feb. 6, 2024. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. MST.
A week later, on Feb. 13, the same two teams will square off at the Estadio Olimpico Universitario in Mexico City. Kickoff for that one is 6 p.m. MST.
The winner will be decided on aggregate, advancing to the Round of 16 where they will take on Costa Ricaโs Liga Deportiva Alajeulense.
Cavalry FC clinched its berth in the Concacaf tournament with its 2-1 win over Forge FC to claim the Canadian Premier League Championship.
Itโs the second straight appearance at Concacaf, a regional tournament that features the top clubs from North and Central America and the Caribbean, for Cavalry FC.
Cavalry hosted their 2024 Concacaf match against Orlando City at Starlight Stadium in Langford as well.

Cavalry FC also posted on its X feed that it will be hosting Edmonton Scottish United SC and League1Alberta in the preliminary round of the Telus Canadian Championship. The games will be played in April or May, 2025 at ATCO Field in Calgary, with the exact date yet to be confirmed.
