A 23-year-old Calgary man face three charges following Wednesday’s execution of search warrants in connection with a suspected drug trafficking cell.

According to police, officers searched two vehicles and an apartment in the 1000 block of 6 Avenue Southwest during an ongoing CPS guns and gangs unit investigation.

As a result of the search, officers seized:

  • 16.8 grams of cocaine (estimated street value $900)
  • An undisclosed amount of OxyContin
  • An undisclosed amount of marijuana
  • $19,305 in cash (believed to be the proceeds of crime)

Travis Huynh has been charged in connection with the investigation. Huynh faces charges of:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Possession of the proceeds of crime

Huynh is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, April 29.
