Members of the Calgary Police Service have arrested a 27-year-old suspect wanted in connection with a number of robberies.

According to police, the accused entered six different businesses where he approached the cashier and demanded money. The suspect produced a small knife during the robberies of stores ranging from a pet shop to M & M Meat Shop locations.

The offences occurred between June 12 and August 24, 2016.

On Thursday afternoon, Daniel Loveys was arrested at an undisclosed location in northwest Calgary.

Loveys faces 22 charges including robbery and weapons offences.
