The CPKC Holiday Train pulled into southern Alberta Friday night, and a large crowd assembled in Airdrie to take in the show.

They were entertained Friday by Canadian reggae fusion band Magic! Onstage while volunteers collected donations for the local food bank.

The train rolls into Calgary Saturday night. It will be at the Anderson C-Train station between 6:30 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.

Canada Post stamps just got more expensive

Canada Post is raising the price of stamps, starting today. Stamps purchased in a booklet, coil or pane will cost 25 cents more at $1.24 per stamp. The price of a single domestic stamp is now $1.44, up from $1.15.
